Wilfried Zaha Denies Affair with David Moyes' Daughter on Twitter – Bleacher Report

Wilfried Zaha has taken to Twitter to deny accusations that a relationship with David Moyes’ daughter is the reason his Manchester United career has yet to take off.
The winger was the last signing made during Sir Alex Ferguson’s era. According to The Guardian, it was for an initial fee of £10 million and could potentially rise to around £15 million depending on appearances.
The chances of Zaha making those appearances seem quite remote at the moment—he has been a peripheral figure for Manchester United since arriving at Old Trafford in the summer.
According to stats on Soccerway, he has been on the bench just three times in the Premier League this season and has not been brought on once.
As noted by the Daily Star‘s Steve Hughes, rumours on Twitter have persisted that Zaha has been involved with Moyes’ daughter Lauren. The winger denied those claims in October.
Now, however, he has repeated his position (Update 16:20 UK time – the tweets have subsequently been deleted):
I’ve never dated or even met David moye’s Daughter so that isn’t the reason for my absence in games …
I would like to stop all these false accusations .. I will play for Manchester United when my manager feels I’m ready …
Zaha’s tweets also appear to indicate that he is happy to wait for his chance at Old Trafford. The Daily Mail reports that he has been heavily linked with a January loan move for first-team experience.
According to the Daily Star‘s Adrian Kajumba, the 21-year-old is reportedly the subject of interest from at least five Premier League clubs.
