Why is Tyler Adams suspended? Is Tyler Adams injured?
Some Leeds United fans have a number of questions regarding their player’s whereabouts.
That’s because he was omitted from the squad by Jesse Marsch tonight for the visit of Manchester City.
This is the Whites’ first game since the World Cup break and no doubt the passionate Elland Road faithful will be their 12th man tonight.
Honestly, they’ll need all the help that they can get because the suspended USA international has been a revelation since joining Leeds.
The former Red Bull Leipzig star – linked to Manchester United, as covered by HITC Sport – is absent because of a red card in Leeds’ last Premier League outing before the World Cup break.
Marsch’s side lost a fascinating clash away to Tottenham Hotspur, going down 4-3.
And in it, Adams, who has started 13 Premier League games this season, received his marching orders for two yellow cards.
He was booked on 71 minutes and again just before the end of regulation time, as United suffered a pulsating defeat [Soccerway].
Fortunately for Leeds, nope. He is not injured.
After this, the Whites have a difficult visit to Newcastle United on New Year’s Eve.
But thankfully, Marsch will have Adams available for selection yet again.
