Under contract at Crystal Palace, training with West Ham United and wanted by Everton – that was Teamtalk‘s assessment of Brandon Aveiro’s situation in September.
Everton and Sporting were both said to have held talks with Aveiro, although it was claimed that West Ham had taken the lead in the race to sign him from Crystal Palace.
Palace, the report added, were not going to stand in his way, but would require some sort of sell-on fee included in any deal.
So what’s the story now?
Aveiro never did join West Ham – nor Everton or Sporting – and remains a Crystal Palace player, according to Transfermarkt.
But his Soccerway profile states the Portuguese attacking midfielder has yet to appear for Palace’s Under-23s this season – although he is listed as having featured at the same level for Burnley last month.
Aveiro scored against Burnley’s U18 side for the Eagles in March 2019.

But it remains to be seen where his future lies, with neither the Clarets nor Crystal Palace having provided any clarity over the West Ham, Everton and Sporting-linked teen.
