The Toffees ace is reportedly on a scholarship deal only until the summer and is believed to be on Bayern Munich’s radar.

Everton academy star Ellis Simms has weighed in with yet another superb goalscoring display as the Toffees Under-18s recorded a resounding 6-0 win over their Sunderland counterparts at the weekend.
The 18-year-old scored four goals, while Bobby Carroll and Korede Adedoyin also netted to move the Toffees up to third and above Manchester United, who were held to a 2-2 draw against rivals Manchester City (Sunderland website).
Simms opened the scoring at Finch Farm on 14 minutes and netted again minutes before the break either side of Carroll’s effort, while the second half saw Adedoyin make it four before Simms weighed in with his second brace of the game.
The Everton website says Simms is now on 31 U18 league goals for the season, but given he has played in several competitions at different age ranges, his overall tally is much higher.
Although statistics at youth level are somewhat inconsistent, EFC Statto had him down as having netted 41 goals in 33 appearances across the various age groups as of 23 March.
Everton U18s lost their subsequent game, the Merseyside derby against Liverpool, before Simms scored the equaliser in the following fixture, the 1-1 draw against Newcastle (Soccerway).

Going by the EFC Statto tally plus a further five goals, that would currently put Simms on 46 goals for the season with one more U18s fixture to go, the trip to Manchester United on 27 April (Soccerway).
Everton’s Under-23s, meanwhile, have two more fixtures, on 23 and 29 April respectively (Soccerway), which would give Simms up to three more games in which to surpass the 50 mark depending on which ones he’s selected for.
According to The Sun, Simms is yet to sign professional terms with Everton, with his current scholarship deal expiring in the summer.
With the likes of Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen reportedly keeping tabs on him, Marco Silva needs to act now to ensure they don’t lose him.
